24 HOCKEY TOURNAMENT SERIES - Community First Igloo - 2024

Age Divisions:  18+ Open A/B and 35+ A/B

** Potential for moving teams based on competitive level

Team Fee:  $1699 single payment with team registration

Registration:  Captain’s pay for and register their team. Once team payment has been made, Captain's will receive an email receipt including instructions on how to submit their team rosters and information - complete team registration.

Rosters:  10 to 15 skaters plus up to 2 goalies

• 3 Game Guarantee plus Championship Game
• Games will be played Friday PM, Saturday and Sunday AM
• 3 x 14-minute stop time periods

Happy Hour:

• May 19th (Friday) @ 6pm
• The Igloo Restaurant @ Community First Igloo
• Food and drink specials to be provided.

Hotels:  Out-of-town teams are expected to use hotels provided by the tournament.

1. USAH rules will be used except as noted below.
2. USA Hockey player registration is required!
3. Open Division players must have a 2005 or later birth year.
4. 40+ players must have a 1984 or later birth year, 40+ Goalies must have a 1989 or later birth year.
5. Each team gets 2 points for a win and 1 point for a tie.
6. 3rd Period clock will switch to running time; if the goal differential is 5 goals or more (switches back to stop time at 3 goal differential), or if game is expected to exceed ice-time slot.
7. Full equipment is required except for shoulder pads, helmet cage or shield highly recommended.
8. If a player receives 3 Penalties in a game, the player is ejected from that game.
9. No Body Checking!  If you clearly body check another player, you will be ejected from that game.
10. No Fighting! Fighting will result in that player being ejected from the tournament.
11. There are NO time-outs. 

• Tied After Round Robin Play – positions will be determined by:
• Head-to-Head
• Tournament Total Goals Against (maximum of 5 goals from any one game)
• Tournament Total Goals For (maximum of 5 goals from any one game)
• Coin Flip

• Winner will be determined by:
• 4-on-4 Sudden Death Overtime with a 5-minute Running Time Clock
• Then 3-man shoot out, then 1-man shoot out (no duplicate shooters until all players take a turn)

• Payment – Payment signifies your group acceptance of our terms and conditions.
• Method of Payment – Payments will be accepted via 24 Hockey Shopify Link during registration.
• Cancellation Policies – Teams that cancel after registering will lose their team payment unless a replacement team is found prior to the start of the tournament.
• Insurance Policies – Each player is required to sign an assumption of risk form before playing their first tournament game. 24 Hockey Adult Tournament Series does not provide any Insurance coverage.  This waiver will be signed at the rink by all players who do not complete their waivers electronicially.
